MORE OPTIONS TO MIGRATE UNDER STATE SPONSORSHIP

The entire Visa Centre London office team were invited to the Australia Centre to meet Sally Capp, Agent-General for the State of Victoria. Sally confirmed how important skilled and business new settlers from the UK & Europe were to the State and she emphasised that Victoria is now "open for immigration". Visa Centre staff also met Nathan Cox, Head of State Sponsored Migration for Victoria, who flagged that the new State Migration Plan (SMP) would be released in August 2010 and that our team would receive a briefing on the new SMP at that time. The SMP will offer many more options for new applicants, including additional occupations that will be sponsored and opportunities for those who obtain a qualifying, relevant job offer during the immigration process.
